Finch & Lily, a feature film in development by Starbrite Pictures LLC, a devision of R. Productions, is allocating a percentage of it’s profits to feeding the poor. “We want to help Poverty Reduction,” states Co-producer Audrey LeRoy, “And producing Finch & Lily is part education/part call-to-action in that regard. People have got to know that 37 million Americans are living at or below the poverty level!”

Finch & Lily, penned by award-winning playwright Richard O’Donnell and directed by award-winning director Katie Maholic, concerns a middle-aged Albert Finch who takes up residence at a Chicago transient hotel, The Starbrite. There he befriends agoraphobic Lily Crumb and an array of wonderful characters that benefit in odd and miraculous ways from his simply “being there”. But Finch has a secret that will alter their lives forever, bringing a little bit of heaven to the residents of the Starbrite hotel.

Associate producer, Claudia Sullivan, believes Finch & Lily is reminiscent of films such as It’s a Wonderful Life, “It’s an uplifting story about random acts of kindness, a throwback to the the glorious Frank Capra film fare of the 30’s and 40’s.”

Broadway composers Dianne Adams and Jim McDowell are tapped to score while stage, film and TV actress Megan Cavanagh is slated to star as Sister Olglebee.

Finch & Lily, a feature film in development by Starbrite Pictures LLC, a division of R. Productions in Chicago, is allocating a percentage of it’s profits to feeding the poor. “We want to help Poverty Reduction,” states Co-Executive Producer Jason Christensen, “And producing Finch & Lily is part education/part call-to-action in that regard. People have got to know that 37 million Americans are living at or below the poverty level!”

Finch & Lily, penned by award-winning playwright Richard O’Donnell and directed by Katie Maholic, concerns a middle-aged Albert Finch who takes up residence at a Chicago transient hotel, The Starbrite. There he befriends agoraphobic Lily Crumb and an array of wonderful characters that benefit in odd and miraculous ways from his simply “being there”. But Finch has a secret that will alter their lives forever, bringing a little bit of heaven to the residents of the Starbrite hotel.

Co-Executive producer, Michael O’Donnell, sees Finch & Lily as the new It’s a Wonderful Life, “It’s an uplifting story about random acts of kindness, that is reminiscent of the glorious Frank Capra film fare of the 30′s and 40′s.”

Broadway composers Dianne Adams and Jim McDowell are tapped to score while stage, film and TV actress Megan Cavanagh is slated to star as Sister McGee.
